Dan Ferrick
Interim CEO Dan Ferrick graduate UCSB in 1993 with a Business Economics degree and lives in Santa Barbara, CA along with his wife Cara and two sons Dylan and Leo. He and his partners opened the Central Coast CorePower Yoga region and now own 5 working yoga studios. Dan was the CEO of a co-working space in Santa Barbara called Kiva Cowork. He now heads up the Real Estate Dept., and also works as a commercial broker in town. He tends to get involved in community projects and world excursions and is excited to be a part of growing Ground Hog Land Company.
Joey Ferrick
Founder
Joey Ferrick lives in Bellevue Washington with his two teenage boys Max and Theo and wife Inhee. Born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA. Ferrick has been in Real Estate since 2002 and has been licensed in Hawaii, Colorado and Washington State over the past 20 years specializing in land acquisition and entitlement for single and multi-family housing projects. Ferrick created Groundhog to have a company that is dedicated to land and cash flow assets working creatively with Land Sellers to maximize the bottom line in a positive and educated manner. We believe Land is Brown Gold and is one of the most valuable asset classes in Real Estate and we choose to focus on land because we love the opportunity it gives us to create amazing communities and to hold as an Real Asset instead of having money in the bank, we love Brown Gold as an alternative😊 Groundhog Land Company is a boutique Family Real Estate Company with focus on land development and on brokerage we utilize internally but only work for clients on rare occasions. Groundhog Land Company is a licensed Real Estate Firm in the State of Washington and Ferrick is the Designated Broker.
Ferrick enjoys spending time with his family and working out every day in the beautiful Northwest. Traveling has also been important, Ferrick lived on a Kibbutz in Israel after graduating high school and chose to see how people in other parts of the world live in lieu of a 4 year college degree. Joey got his start in real estate on the Big Island of Hawaii in the town of Waimea where he lived for 7 years working fine dining at the Hilton Waikoloa and bought his first property with his wife Inhee in 2000 and from that time on has been in love with Real Estate and Entrepreneurship.
